In my experience the Lincoln Center is typically less busy, so try going here first. We sleep 12, with 3 bedrooms, each w/private full baths, 6 beds total. Lincoln Center is the other location not far away between 61st and 62nd street. Times Square is the most famous under the red steps that you can sit on while you wait for your show. They have two locations for you to go buy tickets in person. Another good option for day-of tickets is buying tickets from the TKTS booth.
